Job Title: Internal Auditor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective functioning of our internal control systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal auditing and experience working in manufacturing industries. You will be responsible for developing and implementing internal audit plans, reviewing and amending policies and procedures, performing special investigative audits, and conducting verification of company assets.

You will also be required to review and report transactions, conduct scheduled and special audits, and make recommendations for improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating audit risk plans and discussing and disseminating audit findings with senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop internal audit plans in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant regulations.
  • Review and amend internal audit procedures, processes, and SOPs to ensure they align with prevailing operating standards.
  • Perform special investigative, spot, and individual audits according to SOPs and international audit standards.
  • Develop and execute monthly stock plans in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct verification of company assets, stock, and make recommendations on safeguarding and protection.
  • Review and report transactions and costing studies as directed by the Lead - Internal Auditor.
  • Conduct scheduled and special audits and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Review and update audit risk plans in relation to audit plans.
  • Discuss and disseminate audit findings and recommendations with the Lead - Internal Auditor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of internal auditing principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
