Facebook Ads Media Buyer Role

To succeed in this challenging role, you'll need to be highly analytical and confident with maths. You should be able to build smart spreadsheets for tracking performance, trends and projections.

As a Facebook Ads Media Buyer, your primary responsibility will be managing and optimising ad spend on Facebook and Instagram. This involves building and scaling full-funnel campaigns using real strategy - not guesswork.

You'll need to use spreadsheets and dashboards to analyse CPL, CTR, ROAS, CAC and spot trends fast. Testing ad creatives is also a crucial part of the job, as you'll work with designers/video editors, but you'll lead the ideas & structure.

Writing compelling hooks, headlines and ad copy that actually converts is another key aspect of this role. Producing clear daily reports and being accountable for the numbers is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly analytical and confident with maths
  • Ability to build smart spreadsheets for tracking performance, trends and projections
  • Eye for what makes a scroll-stopping ad creative
  • At least 1–2 years' experience running Facebook/Meta Ads with a proven track record
  • Understanding of key performance metrics like CPL, CPA, CTR, ROAS — and how to optimise them
