Job Title: Oracle SCM Technical Consultant

 

About the Role

This position involves developing Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for a remote team.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining ERP systems using Oracle database technologies and services.
- Integrating applications with middleware solutions such as OIC, MuleSoft, AWS API Management, and Rest API.
- Designing and developing extensions using VBCS.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and databases.
 
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of development processes and outcomes.
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
 
- Providing support for testing and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborating with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
 
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
- Analyzing business needs and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
 
- Identifying and addressing technical debt to maintain a clean and efficient codebase.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
 
- Fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
 
 

 

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Minimum 5 years' experience developing Oracle ERP solutions.

- Strong understanding of relational database development and SQL queries.

- Experience with NoSQL databases and data modeling.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.

- Familiarity with design tools like Draw.IO and visual development platforms like VBCS.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
