Oracle EPCM Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in an Oracle EPCM Technical Consultant role. This is a hands-on position that requires experience in Essbase, PCMCS/EPCM and PBCS implementation.

This role involves designing and configuring Oracle EPCM modules with in-depth knowledge of configuration, data management, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience and be willing to learn new technologies and work on stringent timelines.

• Designing and configuring Oracle EPCM modules.
• Configuring and customizing EPCM modules, including defining cost drivers, allocation rules, and reporting structures.
• Providing in-depth technical knowledge of Oracle EPCM, including its features, functionalities, and integration capabilities with other Oracle Cloud modules.
• Managing data mappings, validations, and transformations within EPCM and integrating it with other systems.
• Ensuring that the EPCM solution aligns with the organization's business processes and objectives.
• Implementing Oracle PCM/EPCM from designing allocation rules to building custom (MDX) rules and allocation rules and rulesets, and fine-tuning for performance.
• Working on direct integration to ERP GL and other EPM applications using Data Management.
• Understanding audit trail and balancing reports for allocations.
• Implementing projects with Oracle PCM and developing artifacts starting from Metadata creation/updates, setting up rules, designing web forms and data grids, creating reports and dashboards.
• Understanding financial statements, close cycle, and related best practices.
• Creating consolidated financial statements for customers.
• Responsible for understanding project plans, timelines, regular status reports, risk, and issue logs, and working with the appropriate teams to ensure timely delivery.

• MBA Finance or Bachelor's Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject.

• Overall 10+ years EPM/PCM experience in administration, design, analysis, development, and Support of applications in various domains and products related to EPM and PCM.
• Experience in PCM with strong Application Development process experience on Hyperion EPM Product Suite.
• Strong experience in PBCS Business rules - Design, Development and performance tuning.
• Experience in metadata integration with EDMCS and custom files for EPM modules - PBCS & PCMCS.
• Experience in designing and coding batch processes using epmautomate tool for EPM modules - PBCS & PCMCS.
• Experience in Requirement Gathering & Solution Design - PCM.
• Hands on experience in configuration of rules and rulesets in PCM.
• Administrative activities related to PCM.
• Data management skills to create data load rules, mappings and loading of data.
• Familiarity with Chart of Accounts and allocations process.
• Able to work independently to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to their occurrence.
• Excellent MS word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office and collaboration and unified communication tools skills.
• Adaptable to new technologies.
• Excellent experience in Oracle EPM applications. Good to have prior Finance modules experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts (Incident / Problem / Change / Availability Management).
• Flexible to work long hours overlapping with EST, CST and PST working hours.
