Job Title:

Financial Manager

Job Overview:
  • The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in financial management, including account reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing.
  • They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure business transactions are accurately reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Work closely with team members to assist with payables and receivables, providing exceptional support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
  • Research and analyze expense variances for company management, providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Manage accounts payable & receivable, ensuring timely payments and optimal cash flow.
  • Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Document financial transactions by entering accurate account information.
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents, maintaining the highest level of integrity.
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, resolving issues promptly.
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups, ensuring data protection.
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls, preventing potential threats.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements, streamlining the payment process.
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements.
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.

  • Project-wise accounting and product-based accounting Cash flow, Balance sheet
Requirements:
  • Experience in financial management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and systems.
