Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a System Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server and storage administration, with a focus on ensuring high availability and performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex server and storage infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on server and storage management.
  • Advanced knowledge of backup systems, storage arrays, and converged infrastructure.
  • Operating systems: Mainly Microsoft Windows Servers and Linux systems.
  • Scripting knowledge: Powershell, Python, Terraform.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as MS Azure.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and threat mitigation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of network devices and configuration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Engineering degree.
