Job Opportunity:

Teaching and Capacity Building Specialist
  • Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Development:

  • Workshop Facilitation

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality workshops for teachers in STEM fields, incorporating progressive pedagogical methodologies to enhance teaching skills.

  • Curriculum Planning

Collaborate with subject teams to plan and implement capacity-building programs in STEM, ensuring alignment with educational policies and guidelines.

  • Program Coordination

Coordinate with other subject teams to plan, execute, and evaluate the effectiveness of STEM programs.

  • Feedback Analysis and Implementation

Analyze feedback from training programs and incorporate it into subsequent trainings to improve quality and relevance.

  • Policy Alignment and Content Development

Develop detailed program frameworks, teaching plans, and workshop modules that align with current educational policies and guidelines.

  • Resource Centre Strengthening and Research

Strengthen the Resource Centre by developing subject-specific resource materials, including teacher manuals and assessment tools, and conducting research-based content development to achieve workshop goals.

  • School Visits and Documentation

Regularly observe classroom sessions at various schools to assess the impact of the programs and document progress on allocated tasks.

  • Reporting and Collaboration

Document and report progress on tasks assigned, collaborating effectively with team members and teachers to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. (Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry), B.Ed or an equivalent degree.
