Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
  • Perform financial due diligence on behalf of middle market companies and private equity firms.
  • Aggregate, manipulate and analyze company data to identify trends and potential liabilities.
  • Write detailed reports to present findings to clients.
  • Advise clients on how to maximize opportunities and minimize risks related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks and effectively manage problem resolution.
  • Interface with senior executives of clients and target companies.
  • Manage team responsibilities and consult with Managers, Directors and Managing Directors.
  • Work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Develop relationships with current and prospective clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of applicable work experience including experience in audit or transaction advisory services.
  • Licensed CPA/equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
  • Drive and entrepreneurial spirit are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment is required.
  • Proficient use of applicable technology is expected.
  • Hands on accounting experience is necessary.
