Financial Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned financial management professional to oversee our financial operations and provide strategic support to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of day-to-day financial activities including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management.
  • Cash flow monitoring, investment tracking, and cash forecasting.
  • Management of budgeting processes and support for cross-functional departmental budget planning.
Accounting & Compliance:
  • Compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local tax regulations.
  • Timely and accurate filing of all Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.
  • Handling GST audits, assessments, and notices from the tax authority.
  • Accurate and timely filing of income tax returns.
  • Statutory audit handling, assessments, and timely responses.
  • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements.
  • Timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and RBI.
  • Maintenance of documentation and records for all Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA)-related transactions.
  • Coordination of internal and external audits.
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  • Implementation and monitoring of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Strategic Support:
  • Provision of financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration with senior management on financial planning and risk management.
  • Evaluation of financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis as required.
Team Leadership:
  • Supervision and mentoring of accounting staff.
  • Continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Training of staff on financial systems and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and 10-15 years of experience in financial management and accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards is essential. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel and data analysis skills are also required.
