Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Accountant.

  • This role requires someone with experience in accounting and finance, preferably within the corporate or business sector.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AP and AR using QuickBooks in Real Estate Accounting.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce is highly preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with GAAP, US Accounting, and Taxation processes is necessary.
  • The ability to work with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas is also required.
  • Candidates who are CPA candidates or enrolled CPAs will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

  1. Reconciliations must be performed accurately and efficiently.
  2. Clients must receive exceptional service excellence in accordance with our service standards.
  3. An in-depth knowledge of all client financial matters must be developed and maintained.
  4. Up-to-date knowledge of applicable taxation and other relevant legislation and guidelines must be maintained.
  5. Financial transactions records must be maintained by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  6. A system to account for financial transactions must be developed by establishing a chart of accounts.
  7. Historical records must be maintained by filing documents.
  8. Financial reports must be prepared by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  9. Federal, state, and local legal requirements must be complied with by studying requirements, enforcing adherence, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the corporate/business sector.
  • Hands-on experience in AP, and AR using QuickBooks in Real Estate Accounting.
  • Educational background with either a Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, US Accounting, and Taxation process.
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
  • Must be a CPA candidate or CPA enrolled.
