About Insights & Advisory (IA):

The Insights and Advisory team plays a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance and data-driven insights to organizations. We analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and business data to help decision-makers make informed choices that positively impact performance and bottom line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research and insights on public health areas, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain databases and repositories, updating them regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Expertise in data management, analysis, and monitoring and evaluation activities is essential for success in this role.
  • Plan, write, edit, review, and coordinate monthly reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings.
  • Develop and deploy strategic tools and frameworks for conducting primary and secondary research, data collection, and M&E activities.
  • Effectively collect, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple sources, summarizing it in clear and concise word reports and presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments, trends, and literature, identifying relevant and reliable sources of information, and presenting data and findings succinctly.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • 7-12 years of professional experience in public health research, with a strong understanding of global and local contexts.
  • Masters/MA in Public Health or a related field is required.
  • Excellent consulting, research, and data analysis capabilities are essential for this role.
  • Experience with strategy execution, measurement, review, and adjustment is highly desirable.
  • Superb oral, facilitation, and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • A mix of team player and leader skills is required to succeed in this dynamic environment.
  • Past experience of handling a team and mentoring junior colleagues is an asset.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative knowledge, with the ability to extract and present complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in analytical and visualization software, such as STATA, R, Atlas ti, and Power BI, is required.
  • Ability to conduct literature reviews and systematic reviews, with a preference for meta-analysis experience.
  • Independence, adaptability, and sensitivity when working across cultural barriers are essential.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications are necessary for day-to-day tasks.
