Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to deliver key features of our Enterprise Platform, which helps customers measure and eliminate cyber risks.

The successful candidate will design, implement, document, and maintain testing frameworks for core product capabilities using micro-services and Big Data-based components.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team building a next-generation platform using Big Data & Micro-Services based technology to process billions of transactions per day, leveraging open-source technologies, and working on challenging and business-impacting initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead automation efforts to achieve maximum automation coverage.
  • Develop automation frameworks using programming languages such as Java (Selenium) and automate big data workflows like ingestion, aggregation, ETL processing, etc.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting issues within the big data ecosystem.
  • Set up the Big Data platform and Hadoop ecosystem for testing.
  • Define test strategy and write test plans for data platform enhancements and new features/services built on it.
  • Define operating procedures, service monitors, and alerts and work with the NOC team to get them implemented.
  • Responsible for system and performance testing of the data platform and applications.
  • Solve complex problems and provide technical consultation in the design, development, and test effort of engineering projects.
  • Review product specifications and write test cases, develop test plans for assigned areas.
  • Identify issues and suggest possible solutions.
  • Testing big data ingestion and aggregation flows using Spark Shell and related queries.
  • Do end-to-end workflow automation using a framework.
  • Contribute to Test Automation Development/Enhancement.
