MEP Designer Job Post

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in preparing detailed MEP drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) using Autocad.

The successful candidate will work closely with architects, civil engineers, vendors, and execution teams for seamless design-to-delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Accurate MEP Layout Drawings: Using Autodesk Revit for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and low-voltage systems.
  2. Collaborate with Architectural and Structural Teams: For clash detection and coordination.
  3. Prepare BOQs for MEP Services: Aligned with design and execution requirements.
  4. Support Tendering, Budgeting, and Vendor Alignment Processes: With technical documentation.
  5. Revise and Update Models and Drawings: Based on feedback and site conditions.
  6. Conduct Regular Coordination Meetings: With vendors and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
  7. Perform Quantity Take-offs and Support Procurement Processes: By providing detailed schedules.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Related Engineering Fields.
  • 4–5 Years of Relevant Hands-on Experience with Revit MEP in commercial/office space projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for BIM coordination.
  • Strong Understanding of HVAC, Electrical Distribution, and Plumbing Systems.
  • Experience Preparing BOQs and Technical Documentation for tendering.
  • Excellent Understanding of Building Services Codes and Industry Standards.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Organisational Skills.
