Job Title: R Analytics Support Lead

This is a senior-level position that requires the expertise to manage day-to-day operations of an R-based analytics environment.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 4 years in a lead or senior operations/support role.

We are looking for someone who can monitor production jobs, troubleshoot script failures, and handle raw or inconsistent production data by applying proper cleaning techniques.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for fulfilling various production data and reporting requests using R and SQL, as well as supporting team members in identifying and resolving technical issues.

A strong hands-on experience in R programming, proficiency in SQL, and demonstrated ability to lead teams, train junior members, and coordinate across departments are essential qualifications for this position.

In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned above, the ideal candidate should be familiar with scheduling tools and database connections in a production environment, able to document processes, communicate issues clearly, and interact with business users.

The role involves monitoring execution of existing R scripts, resolving failures through root cause analysis and data cleaning, supporting business teams with production data requests, and mentoring the R Ops team for better process efficiency and incident handling.

Our ideal candidate will collaborate with development and QA teams to support testing, deployment, and monitoring activities, and share knowledge with the team on R coding standards, production support practices, database usage, and debugging techniques.
