Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Project Manager to join our team. As an Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project plans, identifying key milestones and assigning responsibilities and resources.
  • Create detailed project plans capturing low-level activities and assigning owners, tracking progress closely.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle and escalate them in governance forums with mitigation plans.
  • Maintain project change control, ensuring changes to baseline are managed through change requests.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, providing regular updates and obtaining buy-in for key project activities.
  • Promote and take accountability for project quality, identifying opportunities to improve delivery.
  • Analyse management reports and derive insights to drive business decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 12+ years of experience in project management in banking and financial institutions.
  • In-depth understanding of the project lifecycle.
  • Proficient in change adoption techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of project execution in agile frameworks, with hands-on experience in tools such as Clarity/JIRA/MS Project/Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking and how change drives benefits for banks, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Relevant experience working in complex retail banking projects across countries or regions.
  • Ability to interact and influence senior stakeholders to drive decisions in achieving desired project outcomes.
