Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our manufacturing science and technology team. As the Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology, you will be responsible for ensuring robust product stewardship for all products manufactured at the platform/cluster.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with current GMP and regulatory requirements for product manufacturing processes.
  • Provide strong technical leadership to maintain product and related packaging operations in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Implement project plans to improve manufacturing processes and ensure ongoing process verification.
  • Oversee and monitor Critical Process Parameters (CPP) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) through a continued process verification program.
  • Ensure single point of contact for products within the site and across sites for multi-site products.
  • Safeguard, maintain, and develop scientific information on product processes.
  • Support optimization of pharmaceutical processes by applying sound scientific reasoning and integrated process strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • MSc. In Science, Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Ph.D. desirable.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably with additional specialist experience.
  • Cross-cultural experience and strategy development skills are essential.
  • Strong people leadership, collaboration, and operations management skills are required.

  • A strong educational background in a relevant field is essential.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably with a focus on pharmaceuticals, is crucial.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
