As a Disaster Recovery professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring business continuity. Your primary objective will be to execute and support disaster recovery and crisis management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Continuity Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity plans and procedures, reviewing, revising, and expanding existing protocols.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop, maintain, and implement Enterprise Disaster Recovery Plans, risk assessments, and application and technical strategies in collaboration with other teams.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impacts of unpredictable interruptions such as natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims, and market disruptions.
  • IT-Business Alignment: Drive alignment of IT organization priorities and plans with key business objectives.
  • Recovery Operations: Identify, troubleshoot, and implement recovery operations and methods to enable the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event of infrastructure damage or destruction.
  • Practice Drills: Create and facilitate practice drills for plan execution.
  • Program Metrics: Develop and track program metrics to showcase activities and progress.
  • Tool Maintenance: Review, configure, and maintain business continuity and crisis management tools.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with health, safety, and security staff and local, state, and federal agencies to align the organization's emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards.
  • Response Coordination: Support response coordination and communications during business disruptions.
