Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

Department: Accounting & Finance Division

Job Summary:

The CFO Equivalent Role will provide senior-level financial oversight and guidance to the organization. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with global regulatory requirements, and development of efficient financial processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    • Support the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable standards.
    • Assist with timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Coordinate with external auditors to support audit requirements.
    • Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with global tax laws and regulations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Participate in the global budgeting process and assist in consolidating financial data.
    • Monitor financial performance metrics including cash flow, profitability, and budget variances.
    • Provide support for financial forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Cash Management & Treasury:
    • Assist in managing global cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
    • Support initiatives to optimize working capital and streamline fund transfers.
    • Help monitor foreign exchange exposures and support hedging strategies.
  • Multicurrency Book Management:
    • Maintain accurate accounting records for transactions involving multiple currencies.
    • Ensure compliance with currency conversion policies and related accounting treatment.
    • Work with finance teams to reconcile currency gains/losses and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Process Improvement & Systems Management:
    • Identify and support improvements in financial processes to drive global consistency and efficiency.
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
    • Assist in ERP and financial system integrations and upgrades.
  • Leadership & Team Support:
    • Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial practices.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members.
    • Act as a liaison between regional teams and senior leadership on financial matters.
  • Strategic Financial Support:
    • Assist in preparing financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
    • Support business risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis.
    • Contribute to strategic financial planning efforts.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting field.
  • 6-10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and international taxation.
  • Experience with multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
