Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Receivable Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our branch's receivables, ensuring timely payments and minimizing bad debts.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationship building with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the branch's receivables.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding amounts.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to identify and resolve issues related to delayed payments.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights on customer behavior and trends, informing business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in the BFSI industry, preferably in a similar role or sector.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage.
