The team

Our Global Business Tax Team requires a Senior Manager to build and nurture positive relationships with teams and clients to exceed client expectations:

• Oversee tax advisory engagements
• Manage delivery of tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters
• Responsibility for tax compliances such as filing tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and other tax filings
• Oversee tax assessment and litigation proceedings before tax authorities and higher appellate forums
• Train managers and executives for professional development and creating a stronger bench
• Deliver tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services
• Serve as a single point of contact (SPOC) for end-to-end tax operate engagements
• Internal client codes management from time logging, invoicing, and collections perspectives
• Business development including identifying new opportunities and mining existing ones
• Contribute to firm eminence programs, events, written or speaking contributions at conferences, and thought leadership papers
• Collaborate with other tax services lines and business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements
• Focus on core tax growth themes

Desired qualifications

• 8-10 years' experience in Direct Taxation
• Preferred from Big 4 firms
• Strong technical knowledge
• Analytical skills and conceptual clarity
• Innovative thinking and market trend awareness
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Time and cost management skills
• Team management and leadership
• Mentorship for professionals

Location and work arrangements

• Base location: Mumbai
• This role involves frequent travel to client locations
