Job Title: Packaging Innovation Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Innovation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the packaging department, you will be responsible for creating and developing new packaging formats from scratch to definitive technical specifications.

  • You will work closely with a multinational team to design, develop, and implement innovative packaging solutions that meet our business objectives.
  • You will proactively identify opportunities for improvement in our existing packaging solutions and develop strategies to address these issues.
  • You will collaborate with suppliers to ensure the performance of our packaging materials and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • You will support product managers, sites, quality, and regulatory teams in managing packaging suppliers.
  • You will lead optimization projects to achieve our packaging KPIs, including the use of recycled content, eco-design, and bioplastics.
  • You will have expertise in shipping verification procedures and be able to create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Artioscad, Capepack, and other relevant software.
  • You will have valuable knowledge of laboratory equipment and its use.
  • You will be willing to travel as required.

What You Will Bring to the Role:

Essential Requirements:

  • You hold an university degree in packaging technology or equivalent.
  • You bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in developing pharma packaging solutions.
  • You have solid experience in all packaging materials, including thermo-forming, flexible laminates, glass, injection molding, and cartons.
