About the Role

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager, India MEIC is a key member of Medtronic Asia Pacific's Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE) team, reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, GC & Asia Pacific.

As a strategic partner, you will drive the strategic and operational direction to attract top talent and closely collaborate with hiring teams to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement Talent Acquisition strategies for MEIC in line with the APAC one, focusing on cost-effective, high-impact solutions that address business staffing needs.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire talent, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Manage and develop TA team members by close supervision, helping, advising, coaching, or delegating, depending on their maturity, to ensure they can effectively interact with business/function leaders and hiring managers.
  • Partner with other HR teams to ensure consistent application of standards and methodology.
  • Ensure the Company's agreed quality standards are maintained regarding procedures, policies, operations, and customer contact of Talent Acquisition.

Requirements

  • 18+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition, with a minimum of 8+ years at a leadership role.
  • Bachelor of HR or Business Administration and MBA preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of staffing and talent management best practices in India IT or Engineering hiring.
  • A track record of success in participating and executing tangible Talent Acquisition solutions.
  • Success working across complex, highly matrix, multi-cultural organizations, with strong stakeholder management and influence.
  • Experience with various staffing sourcing channels, systems, methodologies, analytics, reporting dashboards, and demonstrable expertise in driving change.
  • Excellent PC skills, intermediate-advanced Microsoft application skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, medical devices advantageous.
  • Proven experience in utilizing data, trends, and customer information to gather insights and drive appropriate candidate generation and talent pool strategies.
  • English communication skills, both in speaking/listening and writing/reading, as well as executive-level communication to deal with senior leaders.
