Swimming Safety Professional

The Swimming Academy seeks a dedicated and skilled Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all swimmers. This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru, India.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining a safe swimming environment, performing rescues as needed, and providing first aid when necessary.

This role requires proficiency in swimming, strong water safety practices, and excellent observational skills. The Lifeguard must also enforce safety rules and regulations, inspect pool facilities, coordinate with maintenance teams, and maintain cleanliness.

Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in regular training sessions, maintain records of swimming camps, and contribute to creating a positive and safe environment for all participants.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure swimmer safety and well-being at all times
  • Perform rescues and administer first aid as required
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations in the swimming environment
  • Inspect pool facilities and equipment regularly
  • Coordinate with pool maintenance teams and staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized pool area

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proficiency in swimming and strong understanding of water safety practices
  • Ability to perform rescues and administer first aid
  • Knowledge of safety rules and regulations in a swimming environment
  • Excellent observational and decision-making skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to remain alert for long periods
  • Lifeguard certification from a recognized body such as the Red Cross or equivalent
