As the head of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive annual fundraising plan, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and securing revenue to support our philanthropic endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy with clear short-, medium-, and long-term objectives based on a shared vision of desired outcomes.

• Build a national network of diverse supporters strengthening existing relationships and adding new champions and donors.

• Implement a portfolio approach to fundraising to ensure effort and target distribution across different kinds of sources.

• Proactively execute multiple aspects of the plan engaging high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other pertinent entities.

• Work closely with our leadership team to put in place and utilize an effective fund channelization and utilization process along with clear measures to determine net value added in the targeted thematic areas.

• Stay informed on emergent trends and outlook in terms of long-standing partnership and/or support commitments to ensure that our operating designs are simple, relevant, and practical in terms of measurable impact.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in business, Social Sciences, or another related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

• A driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries and get things done.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and comfort with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe.

• Highly organized with strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and an executive presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate expertise.

• Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time-zones.

• Adaptable with a penchant for innovation and a keen eye for emergent trends, regulatory environment, and fast-evolving policy context with willingness to learn on the fly.
