Product Development Manager

**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to join our team at Pilgrim. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a robust New Product Development (NPD) pipeline in the skin care and hair care vertical.
About the Role
- Develop a robust NPD pipeline from ideation to launch, identifying trends, understanding customer needs, and working with internal teams and manufacturers to develop and test new product concepts/prototypes.
- Stay on top of industry trends, active ingredients, and competitor activity to develop the right product-mix offering and identify innovation opportunities.
- Oversee the entire NPD process, managing target costs, timelines, artworks, and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Manage a team of direct reports, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high performance, creativity, and alignment with business goals.
- Identify the right partners/manufacturers for the product range to be developed and maintain strong partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech/M.Tech in Cosmetology or B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry, with 6+ years of experience in NPD in skin care and/or hair care. They will also possess creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying ahead of the curve in marketing trends, activities, and products.
Requirements

- 6+ years of experience in NPD in skin care and/or hair care.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Benefits
