Job Title: Sustainability Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our sustainability team as a Sustainability Operations Manager. In this role, you will play a critical part in the development and execution of our sustainability strategy, focusing on managing key initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving performance in areas like climate action, water stewardship, and circular economy.

  • Support the execution of our sustainability roadmap aligned with global frameworks (e.g., SDGs, GRI, SBTi).
  • Monitor progress against sustainability KPIs across business units (carbon footprint, water usage, waste reduction, etc.).
Data & Reporting:
  • Collect, analyze, and validate sustainability-related data from multiple departments.
  • Support the preparation of annual ESG/sustainability reports, disclosures, and submissions (e.g., CDP, GRI, BRSR).
  • Track global and national ESG regulatory requirements and align reporting accordingly.
Projects & Initiatives:
  • Drive sustainability-focused projects such as plastic neutrality, renewable energy, zero waste to landfill, sustainable packaging, or carbon offsetting.
  • Coordinate with procurement, R&D, and operations to implement sustainable sourcing and eco-design practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Liaise with internal teams, NGOs, consultants, and regulatory bodies on ESG initiatives.
  • Build awareness through employee engagement programs, training, and sustainability campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • Experience: 36 years of relevant experience in sustainability or ESG roles (preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or consulting).
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks: GRI, TCFD, UNGC, SBTi, BRSR, SDGs.
  • Data Tools: Experience with data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and sustainability platforms (e.g., Enablon, EcoVadis) is a plus.
