Database Developer Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled database developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MySQL Enterprise Versions, including upgrades and patch applications.
  • Migrating from MySQL to MariaDB and vice versa is also a requirement.
  • The selected candidate must be able to configure and troubleshoot MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) and Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM).
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL Enterprise backups and logical backups using mysqldump/mysqlpump is essential.
  • InnoDB Cluster and Master-Slave replication configurations, as well as MySQL Enterprise Audit and Encryption, are required skills.
  • Familiarity with open-source HA tools like keepalived/tungstun is also necessary.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with the team to develop high-performance database functionalities and resolve MySQL Performance Issues.
  • Experience working in public cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is beneficial.

Secondary Skills

  • MariaDB and NoSQL database knowledge is an added advantage.
  • A good understanding of data management, including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring, is required.
  • The selected candidate must ensure that all database programs meet organization and performance requirements.
  • User management, space management, and shell scripting skills are necessary.
  • Candidate must have close coordination and planning skills with client and project sub-teams.
  • Good communication skills to work with foreign clients are essential.
