Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to lead and manage agile software development projects from initiation to completion. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for anchoring scrum ceremonies across projects in web application and mobile application development.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software products that meet or exceed client expectations. You will collaborate with project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and anchor Scrum Teams across various projects, ensuring sprint ceremonies follow defined Agile methodologies.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, executing projects according to Agile methodologies for on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate agile development teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues impacting project timelines or quality, ensuring minimal disruptions during project delivery.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders, providing regular status updates, reports, and presentations. Ensure transparency and alignment among team members and stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define and implement quality standards and processes, ensuring software products meet or exceed quality expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the development teams, implementing Agile best practices and lessons learned to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience with minimum 10 years of overall experience.
  • Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master in the IT industry with at least 5 years of experience in this role.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Mandatory Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience in working as an Agile Project Manager will be an added advantage.
  • Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Click Up or Trello.
  • SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
