Agile Coach Job Description

This is a senior-level position that requires experience in Agile methodologies and project management.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile coach to join our team. As an Agile coach, you will be responsible for leading and supporting Agile transformation initiatives at the team and organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to Agile teams: Provide guidance and support to Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership on Agile best practices and principles.
  • Facilitate Agile training workshops: Design and deliver training sessions to help teams understand and implement Agile methodologies.
  • Lead and support Agile transformation initiatives: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess team maturity and develop actionable recommendations to improve Agile practices.
  • Assess team maturity: Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to improve Agile practices.
  • Work closely with delivery teams: Embed Lean and Agile principles in daily work by working collaboratively with delivery teams.
  • Support scaling of Agile frameworks: Help scale Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Spotify model, as applicable.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Agile methodologies: Proven experience in implementing Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Project management skills: Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coaching skills: Experience in coaching and mentoring teams to improve Agile practices.
