Third Party Risk Management Expert

About the Role:

As a Manager in Third Party Risk Management, you will play a key role in developing and deploying robust control frameworks for third-party services globally. This position requires a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with business owners to map out existing third-party engagement processes, identify issues and gaps, and develop end-state recommended processes.
  2. Monitor and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Third Party Risk Management.
  3. Maintain comprehensive documentation for clear communication with management and timely decision-making.
  4. Establish and run robust operational processes with attention to detail.
  5. Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals who have defined responsibilities and areas of focus.
  6. Demonstrate analytical rigor, logical thinking, and a continuous process improvement mindset.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in risk management and controls management awareness.
  • Internal Controls Testing/Internal Audit experience.
  • Familiarity with banking products and services, including front-to-back process views, particularly Third-Party Risk Management.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-disciplined individual who can analyze complex issues, drive resolution, and track progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management, controls, or a related field.
