Enterprise Risk Manager

This role involves oversight of our organization's operational risk profile.

  • Risk Identification and Assessment:
    • Identify, analyze and evaluate operational risks across various departments.
    • Develop frameworks and methodologies to mitigate these risks.
    • Regularly review and assess potential operational risks.
  • Risk Mitigation Strategies:
    • Develop and implement plans to minimize exposure to operational risks.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address emerging risks.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track operational risk metrics and indicators.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
    • Lead regular risk discussions with stakeholders and manage reporting requirements.
  • Third-Party Risk Management:
    • Manage relationships with third parties and oversee external risk assessments.
    • Identify and assess potential risks associated with third-party interactions.
    • Gather evidence of information security controls from third-party providers.
  • Policy Development:
    • Contribute to the creation and updating of operational risk policies.
    • Evaluate policies for alignment with industry best practices.
  • System Testing:
    • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for operational risk management systems.
    • Ensure business continuity through adequate testing and planning.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in a related field such as finance, accounting or management.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in risk management, preferably in financial services.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with operational risk management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to effectively communicate complex ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
