Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day administration and health of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of applications across cloud platforms.
  • Ensure secure, high-performance deployments using automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support containerized applications on Docker/Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to support deployments and changes.
  • Manage and maintain backend OS environments (Windows, Linux, UNIX).
  • Handle system backup, restore, and failover for application environments.
  • Document configurations, deployment processes, and technical procedures.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior team members.
  • Conduct performance tuning and assist with network and database configurations.

Required Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Five (5)+ years of experience in application support or system administration roles.
  • Strong experience with Middleware Technologies.
  • Operating Systems: Windows, AIX, UNIX, LINUX.
  • Scripting: good to have.
  • Cloud Platforms.
  • Containerization: AKS preferred.
  • CI/CD.
  • Artifact Management.
  • Monitoring Tools: mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of database environments, especially Oracle or equivalent.
  • Exposure to tools such as Ansible, Terraform.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.
