Cloud Platform Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Operations Specialist to manage, monitor, and support our cloud environment.

  • Administer and support cloud infrastructure services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using cloud monitoring tools.
  • Manage user access and security policies via IAM and service accounts.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of cloud services.
  2. Provide day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
  3. Deploy, configure, and manage networking within the cloud.
  4. Automate operational tasks using Terraform / Deployment Manager / scripts.
  5. Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions on the cloud.
  6. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in cloud administration and support.
  • Hands-on with cloud services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Networking, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub.
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.
  • Familiarity with scripting for automation.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM, and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
