Job Role Overview

The role of an Actuarial Analyst involves supporting senior actuaries in coordinating and implementing reporting tasks. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of these tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with various teams to execute monthly/quarterly valuation reporting and corresponding analysis for multiple countries within MetLife's European and Middle Eastern regions.
  • Support the specification and validation of new valuation methodologies, models, and product implementations, ensuring alignment with actuarial standards.
  • Provide clear explanations of results for review by the Chief Actuary, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Perform research on auditor queries and assist in preparing timely responses, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to handle deliverables for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reporting for Reinsurance business, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Contribute to ongoing enhancements and developments aimed at improving and simplifying the reporting process, enhancing overall efficiency.
Performance Metrics:
  • Error-free preparation of financial reports within required timescales and actuarial standards.
  • Execution of second-line data validation and completeness checks in line with actuarial and audit standards.
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and professional development, fostering good morale and engagement.
  • Ensuring excellent communication between Noida-based teams and stakeholders across different locations, promoting collaboration and understanding.
  • Taking ownership of work and clearly flagging issues and goal delivery concerns to senior leadership, driving progress and resolution.
