Lead Shooting Instructor Position

The position of Lead Shooting Instructor is available at our esteemed institution, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of shooting sports.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise in shooting sports and have a proven track record of coaching students from diverse age groups and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development & Leadership:
    • Establish a comprehensive shooting curriculum aligned with our school's sports vision, focusing on developing students' technical, tactical, and mental skills.
    • Promote shooting as a sport that fosters focus, discipline, and concentration among participants.
    • Coordinate events, talent promotion, and inclusivity initiatives with management for district/state/national-level competitions.
    • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols throughout all activities.
  • Safety, Facility Management & Training:
    • Ensure accurate records of equipment usage, servicing, and inventory.
    • Train students in responsible use and care of equipment, emphasizing the importance of safety.
    • Oversee maintenance of the shooting range, equipment, and accessories to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assessment & Reporting:
    • Evaluate student performance, monitor progress, and share feedback with students, parents, and school leadership.
    • Maintain detailed records of training sessions, performance outcomes, and competition results.
  • Coaching & Training:
    • Deliver tailored coaching sessions for students, encompassing technique, strategy, and mental preparation.
    • Nurture talent through individualized guidance and strategic planning for competitions.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay updated with cutting-edge techniques, technologies, and regulations within the shooting sports industry.
    • Cultivate partnerships with leading federations, academies, and sports organizations to expand opportunities for our students.
    • Enhance coaching methods and strategies through continuous training and certification.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or equivalent (desired).
    • Certified Shooting Coach (National Rifle Association of India or equivalent) is mandatory.
    • Additional certifications in sports psychology or fitness training are highly valued.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Shooting Coach, with an impressive track record of coaching at competitive levels.
    • Experience training students for state/national/international competitions.
    • Prior experience in an international or progressive school setting is advantageous.
