Job Description

To guarantee successful end-to-end farm management, oversee land preparation, procurement of agricultural inputs, seed purchase planning, and daily monitoring of crop health. Maintain visibility on the production plan, address on-ground challenges proactively, and align farm activities to achieve targeted yield and quality outcomes.

Agriculture graduates are eligible to apply. This is a field-based role that involves working closely with laborers. Candidates should be willing to get their hands dirty, as this hands-on experience will contribute significantly to their personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
    • Validate land for energy crop farming
    • Develop and implement planting, cultivation, and harvesting plans
    • Oversee resource utilization, including land, labor, machinery, and finances
    • Ensure high-quality crops and products through adherence to standards and best practices
    • Implement strategies to improve crop yields and overall productivity
    • Develop and maintain an efficient workforce, including recruitment, training, and supervision
  • Sustainability and Compliance:
    • Implement and maintain sustainable agricultural practices, including environmental stewardship and social responsibility
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Communication and Leadership:
    • Train, motivate, and lead a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, suppliers, and customers
  • Specific Tasks:
    • Maintain digital integration, monitoring, and reporting across plantation sites
    • Oversee land clearing, preparation, and maintenance
    • Supervise planting, fertilization, pest control, gap filling, and other cultivation activities
    • Manage harvesting operations and ensure proper post-harvest handling and storage
    • Oversee equipment maintenance and repair
    • Maintain accurate records of all plantation activities
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a degree in agriculture or a related field, excellent communication skills, and experience in farm operations management.
