Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in manufacturing.

This position involves partnering with multi-functional teams and representing the Manufacturing Design Team at FATP (Final Assembly and Testing).

The successful candidate will have strong assembly tolerance stack and failure analysis skills, as well as experience developing measurement technologies, control strategies, and information systems.

A key aspect of this role is compiling and evaluating data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process and part specifications.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead activities to balance unparalleled quality with scalable yields, while ensuring that quality plans and measurements are aligned across different nodes of the supply chain.

This position also involves coordinating all Quality Engineering functions for a program, serving as project manager to lead efforts at FATP.

Auditing procedures must be established appropriately to ensure alignment to quality standards.

Evaluating and communicating yields of new and existing processes is critical to success in this role.

Corrective actions must be driven multi-functionally with internal and external team members.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing and Quality Control
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing and Quality Control
  • Experience with design of experiments, root cause analysis, and statistical analytical tools
