As a Quality Engineer in Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are met in our production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary focus will be on collaborating with suppliers to design and deploy inspection equipment that meets our rigorous quality requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop models that can accurately judge millions of units per day in a challenging mechanical part manufacturing environment.

  • Develop and implement effective quality control processes to minimize defects and maximize efficiency
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality equipment
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in computer or machine vision and machine learning techniques
  • Proficiency in software development and experience with 2D/3D triangulation laser systems and/or CCD inspection systems
  • Familiarity with mechanical metrology system qualification processes and optics, image acquisition, software filtering, and judgment algorithms
  • Ability to travel approximately 25-50% of the time, sometimes internationally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail

  • Background in mechanical engineering, computer science, or related field
