Patent Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Patent Manager with a strong technical background to lead our patent drafting and prosecution team.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience at a law firm or IP service company, excellent technical and legal drafting skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patent Drafting & Prosecution: Independently draft high-quality patent applications in US, EP, and India.
  • Prepare and review responses to office actions from the USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office.
  • Ensure all work meets jurisdiction-specific legal and technical requirements.
  • Project & Team Management: Manage and guide a team of 3–4 Sr. Associates/Associates on drafting and prosecution assignments.
  • Review drafts prepared by team members, providing detailed feedback to improve quality.
  • Oversee project timelines, workload distribution, and delivery commitments.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with inventors, in-house counsel, and R&D teams to capture technical inventions.
  • Provide strategic advice on patentability, prosecution, and portfolio development.
  • Maintain strong client communication and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Quality & Process Development: Establish and implement best practices for patent drafting and prosecution.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members for professional growth.
  • Continuously improve processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
