About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to take on the role of Counselling Director.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving growth initiatives, guiding counselling teams, and devising strategic processes to propel our organization forward.

The charter for this role includes:

  • Owning a regional profit-and-loss account for your team of counsellors.
  • Leading a team of 80-100 counsellors and team managers by demonstrating leadership skills through building high-performing teams, driving key performance metrics, creating an exceptional work culture, bringing strong customer focus, and leading the organization to exponential growth.
  • Working collaboratively with a team of equally talented and passionate colleagues to develop short and long-term strategies to create a sustainable customer base and business model.
  • Auditing, overseeing, and implementing all operations initiatives for the organization, as well as efficiently managing teammates.
  • Leveraging a high degree of independence and decision-making autonomy to drive the team's 10X growth by owning the end-to-end process from top-of-funnel to bottom-of-funnel.

Ideal Candidate would have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the study abroad industry.
  • Over 10-12 years of experience managing profit-and-loss with a team of 50+ professionals.
  • Experience scaling teams and designing processes across 2-3 companies with a strong grasp of technology.
  • Exceptional operational excellence - defining, monitoring, improving processes and metrics.
  • Competent at managing multiple stakeholders across the business channel, partners, counsellors, operations, etc.
  • Strong ability to build client and non-client support through 100% compliance of application processes.
