Environmental Sustainability Professional

The role involves designing and implementing comprehensive sustainability strategies to achieve long-term environmental goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures compliance, reduces environmental impact, and promotes innovation in sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate values and global environmental standards.
  • Analyze and report environmental performance data, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations, supporting audits and maintaining documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to promote sustainable practices.
  • Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize ecological footprint and ensure business continuity.
  • Research new technologies, materials, and methods to enhance sustainability performance and recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is required. Certifications in ESG or sustainability reporting are advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability program management, or ESG reporting within a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, SASB, or ISO 14001. Proficiency in data analysis tools and sustainability software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging way to diverse audiences.
