Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate project documentation is maintained from inception to completion.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the project schedule, scope, and cost requirements.
  • Identify any changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost, and notify stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Prepare contractual justification for claims submitted by contractors, along with supporting documents.
  • Respond to claim approvals or rejections from employers.
  • Prepare detailed claim statements for submission to dispute resolution boards.
  • Present claim details to advocates and facilitate dispute resolution processes.
  • Update claim status reports to relevant authorities.
  • Collaborate with project teams to obtain necessary information and inputs.
  • Prepare comprehensive extensions of time (EOT) applications, substantiating them with records and references.
  • Evaluate contract entitlements and ensure all claims are justified accordingly.
  • Provide input to DAAB committees and advocate teams during arbitration proceedings.
  • Meet deadlines efficiently and work effectively under pressure.

Requirements for Success:

  • Effective cost management and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of standard method of measurement principles.
  • Sound contracts administration and management skills.
  • Ability to monitor cost control techniques.
  • Proficiency in project commercial management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 10-20 years of experience in construction industry.
