Site Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Lucknow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical expertise and project management skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

About the Role:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site documentation, including drawings, reports, permits, and correspondence.
  • Conduct preliminary site inspections to assess site conditions and identify potential challenges.
  • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing site activities and progress updates.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Review and authorize technical drawings and engineering plans.
  • Evaluate project feasibility and provide recommendations for approval or modification.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
  • Monitor project costs and variations, tracking expenses and identifying deviations from the budget.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate site operations and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide support to the project management team by coordinating site activities and resolving issues.
  • Undertake technical activities as required, including site surveys, measurements, material testing, and construction supervision.
  • Assist in the management of site personnel, subcontractors, and resources to achieve project objectives within specified timelines and budget constraints.
  • Travel to project sites as required to oversee construction activities, attend meetings, and liaise with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer (5+ years) or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in interpreting drawings, preparing reports, and developing cost estimates.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Project management certification is a plus.
