About the Role

At our organization, we're on a mission to achieve carbon neutrality and enhance ESG responsibility. Our scope encompasses developing projects like cookstoves, mangroves, and agroforestry, as well as managing carbon credit portfolios for clients.

Our team comprises experts who provide sustainable solutions across various topics, including carbon markets, renewable energy, environmental impact assessment, and corporate SDG compliance.

We're seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to join our team in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on local and national levels to categorize reports, documents, policies, and analysis.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services.
  • Generate leads through regular follow-ups with appropriate contacts in organizations.
  • Assist seniors in developing sales pitches for prospective clients and participate in presentations of business ideas.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth workflow and expedite processes through established practices.
  • Draw up client contracts based on company size and service requirements.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and 1-3 years of experience in renewable energy, carbon consultancy, power sector, WTE, or NBS.
  • Ability to write reports, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and prepare contracts.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Good communication and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Team player with adaptable working nature and multitasking ability.
