Your Mission

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Plaksha University. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic leadership to the Office of the Registrar, ensuring compliance with UGC regulations, the Punjab Private Universities Policy, and other relevant laws.
  • Coordinating the UGC approval process for our programs, faculty, and facilities, guaranteeing that they meet all required criteria.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and implementing policies to maintain adherence, and staying up-to-date on changes in regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborating with the Office of Academics to ensure accurate student records, including registration, enrollment, grades, and transcripts, in accordance with university policies and legal requirements.
  • Managing the team and budget for the Office of the Registrar, leveraging your expertise in higher education administration to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in higher education, preferably with 7+ years in educational administration or 15+ years in administrative roles, including at least 8+ years in the Registrar's office.
  • A Master's degree with a minimum of 55% or equivalent grade, along with a good academic record.
  • Excellent administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and rigour in adhering to regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Suite.
  • Prior experience in coordinating UGC approvals for a new university is highly desirable.
