Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

About Our Team

Our team is dedicated to creating and improving network services and solutions that ensure the best experience possible for associates and contractors.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our Global Networks – Enterprise Network team.

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise for all phases of the infrastructure lifecycle from ideation through execution, ongoing management, and service retirement / recycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, engineer, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN/WiFi networks for corporate products, adhering to applicable standards.
  • Manage network services and circuit capacity.
  • Plan and deliver projects, including hardware and software specification, vendor coordination, and full operational turnover.
  • Collaborate with key teams, including Network Architects, Test and Certification, Information Security, Finance, Procurement, etc.
  • Participate in product strategy and planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure.
  • Expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices.
  • Proven hands-on experience with SD-WAN, including policy configuration, site provisioning, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures.
  • Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking concepts, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast.
  • Skilled in network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tools.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
  • Experience creating or leveraging automation, AI, and machine learning to deploy and manage networks.
  • Development and deployment of virtualized network services.
  • Understanding of cloud networking solutions and cloud interconnects.
  • Vendor experience: Cisco LAN/WAN/WiFi; HPE/Mist WiFi; Palo Alto Networks FW and SDWA NetScout, Thousand Eyes, NetMRI, ServiceNow, Oracle SBCs and VOIP.
