Network Automation Engineer


Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network automation and be proficient in scripting languages such as Ansible and Python. Experience with APIs, tools like REST, OpenConfig, and gNMI is also a must. Knowledge of VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, and familiarity with Arista switches and CloudVision Portal (CVP) is desired.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement network automation solutions using Ansible and Python scripts.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and tools to streamline network operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver SDLC projects on time and within budget.
  • Implement security controls and design patterns to ensure secure network operations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on network infrastructure and automation technologies.

Requirements:


  • 5-7 years of experience in network infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of delivering SDLC projects.
  • Strong understanding of automation design patterns and security controls.
  • Experience with Linux operating system.
  • Knowledge of API integration and CI/CD tools.

Nice to Have:


  • Experience with Itential tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based network management systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project scope.
