The role of a Serial Content Manager involves overseeing the development, execution, and delivery of series projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Execute content strategies for series projects that align with audience preferences and brand values.
  2. Collaborate with external writers and directors to develop compelling scripts.
  3. Work closely with marketing and analytics teams to ensure performance aligns with strategic goals.

Series Development:

  • Lead the development process for web series, managing writers and providing feedback to ensure scripts are culturally resonant and meet high quality standards.
  • Develop series outlines, episode scripts, and season arcs, focusing on strong character development.

Production Oversight:

  • Supervise script development and production processes, managing timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee filming process, ensuring it adheres to predetermined vision and quality standards.

Team Leadership:

  • Inspire and lead a team of producers, directors, and creative writing staff to produce high quality scripts and engaging content.
  • Foster a creative and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Industry Networking:

  • Engage with internal departments to streamline production processes and address challenges efficiently.
  • Maintain relationships with key industry players to enhance creative capabilities and market presence.

User and Market Research:

  • Conduct thorough audience research to understand preferences and trends.
  • Organize pilot testing and focus groups to gather early feedback.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 6+ years of experience in content management or a related role.
  2. Experience in writing scripts and directorial experience in OTT/TV/production house environment.
  3. Extensive experience in long format entertainment production, demonstrating understanding of serial content development and audience engagement.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
