Job Title: Purchase Executive – Nutraceuticals

The key to our success lies in the timely procurement of high-quality raw materials, packaging items, and consumables. As a Purchase Executive in our Cosmetics and Nutraceutical Division, you will be responsible for sourcing from approved vendors, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and aligning with production schedules while adhering to regulatory and quality compliance standards.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, or related field is required.
  • Diploma or certification in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement is preferred.
  • A Postgraduate Degree (MBA in Supply Chain or Operations) is advantageous.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • You will identify and source raw materials, active ingredients, fragrances, and packaging items for cosmetics.
  • You will raise and manage purchase orders (POs) in line with production and inventory needs.
  • You will coordinate with vendors for price negotiations, lead times, and quality compliance.
  • You will evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery time, and cost.
  • You will ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • You will maintain records and documentation for audits and quality checks.
  • You will collaborate with the QA/QC department to ensure the receipt of materials as per specifications.
  • You will track and maintain optimum inventory levels and update the inventory management system.
  • You will coordinate logistics and follow up for on-time delivery of materials.
  • You will support vendor development and alternative sourcing strategies.
  • You will assist in cost-saving initiatives and price benchmarking.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • You must have a strong understanding of procurement processes in the cosmetics/pharma industry.
  • You must have knowledge of raw materials used in cosmetics.
  • You must be familiar with GMP, FDA, and cosmetic regulatory requirements.
  • You must possess negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • You must be proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • You must have strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • You must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You must have a problem-solving mindset and cost-conscious approach.

Language: English, Hindi, and Marathi (Hindi is Mandatory). Kannada is optional.
