Job Description:

The Procurement Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and packaging supplies. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that meet business objectives, while minimizing supply risks.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles and be able to effectively negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible terms. They will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain management, or a related field. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in RM/PM procurement is required, preferably in the food, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors. The candidate should demonstrate strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills, as well as the ability to lead procurement projects and influence cross-functional teams.

Additional requirements include working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/NetSuite or similar) and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. A deep understanding of RM/PM specifications, quality norms, and food safety regulations is essential.
